His distinguished career includes over 32 years of service as an Army Officer in the Defence forces, followed by more than four years with the Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS), where he continued contributing to structured administration and operational management.

He holds a Bachelor's degree in Commerce and an Advanced Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel and Security Management, reflecting his strong background in administration, security, and personnel management.
