Red Color Day

While the nation is on lockdown, our little tots are having an eventful day at home exploring the awesomeness of the color red. The young ones are making the most of their days by taking virtual classes and engaging in fun activities. A list of activities was provided to the kids to celebrate red color day.

Children enjoyed a game of red treasure hunt, where they collected red colored objects from around the house and then they shared a few lines on it. There was also a vibrant color printing activity arranged for the kids. Students from pre-nursery made red color flowers using the base of a bottle, while nursery kids used lady finger for the same activity. The K-I students had a hand printing activity of a strawberry, while the K-II kids illustrated a beautiful garden scene with red flowers, beetles and butterflies. Lastly, children enjoyed their favorite gardening activity. They had the wonderful experience of sowing tomato seeds in smalls pot, after which they sang the poem “Aha Tamatar Bade Mazedaar”.

To further enhance children’s understanding of red color, video links were sent to parents on Red Hermit Activity, Story: Red is Best and Watermelon Slush Making Activity.

The theme of red color was pretty exciting for the kids. The activities brought out the fun in learning while building their interest.
